Whew. We made it! Not perfect by any means but it gives me a good idea of where we are at. The second video is of the group down and sit stay. Jett did great, Zoey not so well. She broke her down twice 🤨. All that pampering has definitely gave her the belief she can do what she wants. A few more weeks and her reality as she knows it now is coming to an end.

Week 7 Exam
Well the dog did fairly good, handler not so much. Considering we were in a higher distraction area I wasn’t complaining about his performance. And I don’t know why he is so sensitive to the string? He has wore to a of lines on him. At one time I didn’t get it off of him good enough and he just couldn’t handle it. Weird dog. I know he moved on one of his sit stays and broke his down stay when I returned to him. Honestly, I was happy he only did that once. We will just keep working on it.

Wk 4 Exam
Today after work I crated Jett for his hour with the intentions of going to Home Depot to do his exam. Well we had to make a quick stop to the accountant before going to HD. The accountant is right by the pet store. So in all my genius I thought “I’ll just go do the test here”. I have not taken him in the pet store to train yet so it was a whole new world for him. Well the video will speak for itself. It was definitely high distraction off the chart for Jett. Monsters and everything. Although it is not perfect I was so proud of the little guy. He was trying so hard to do what he needed to do but sometimes the distractions around him were just too much. After the test I stayed and worked him against the bunny that was his “Monster” Anyway, if I need to redo this exam in not so high of distraction I totally understand.

Week 3 EXAM(s): Body Bend Tests (lots of history)
1-31-2024 Trina/Zoey
Here is the day 17 exam for Zoey. Let me know if there is anything I need to redo. I felt like she did fairly good for not practicing before the video.
I'm uploading one video for feedback please... I think she nailed the bending in the first few minutes of the video, and the remaining 4 min is practicing the auto sit with halt. I'm pretty sure she's not receiving the proper cue by her delayed response. I think it's because my hands are still behind her eye on the kiss, but I can't figure out how to bring them forward. What do you gals think?

Training videos from our Week 3 session this week:
I hereby dub this Readiness Test Attempt ‘I hate garbage day.’ I feel like pup spent all morning rubbernecking about ANY vehicle, and especially the garbage trucks. I’m blaming the garbage trucks. Tonight I start my seven on (😫) so our hopefully passing attempt will be this afternoon. Heading to review the Exam instructions, now…
Since Ellie passed her week 2 exam, I thought I’d start introducing her to some of the Week 3 exercises. I set up for a Body Bend practice and this is what happened.
There were just a few distractions, you know, Roxanne style!!
Week 3 HOMEWORK
Morning Trina,

Working on uploading each of your class Week 3 EXAM # 1 tests. It's interesting to see that history.
